Hi my name is Rosemarie. I have spent many hours going through a large list of free web directories and have weeded out those that were not really free. Secondly, I have organized them in alphabetical order so there is no chance of you submitting to a directory twice. Some web directories will reject your site just for submitting more than once. Thirdly I have provided the pr value for each directory.
All you need to do is just focus on submitting to these directories and getting your one-way links that will increase your page ranking.
However it is out of my control when a free web directory changes to paid listings only. If you should come across any of the free sites on this list that is no longer free please contact me with their link and it will be immediately deleted. Please note that I am not against paid directories but the list that I have on this site is free only.

Here are some tips that will save you some time: First, go to the category that is most suitable for your site. Secondly, look in the menu section for "submit site", "suggest listings", "add url", or "add site", etc, etc, then click on it. You will see the submission form. Thirdly, check the free listing button and fill out the form. That's it!
NB! Sometimes you will see a "submit site" link by advertisers on the site. Do not click on those. They will take you some place else.
